1. What this app is for

Homeschool Legal Prep is a simple tool that helps Missouri homeschool families organize records such as schedules, logged hours, optional location tags, and portfolio artifacts.

Important: We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice. Homeschool Legal Prep makes tracking easier, but you are still responsible for understanding and following applicable homeschool laws.

2. Your account

You agree to keep your account information accurate and your password secure. Use the app only for lawful, personal homeschool purposes.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The app may include trial access and optional paid subscriptions. Billing is handled through secure Stripe-powered checkout and billing flows.

  • Trial details and pricing are shown at checkout.
  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled.
  • You can manage billing through the billing management flow provided in the app.
  • If access ends, core features may pause until renewed.

4. Your content and records

You own all records, files, and information you add. You give us permission to store and process them only so the app can work, including syncing, backups, and support. We do not sell your family's records.

5. Acceptable use

  • Only add information about your own family.
  • Do not share login details or use the app for unlawful activity.
  • Do not submit harmful, fraudulent, or abusive content.

6. Our app and intellectual property

Homeschool Legal Prep, including our app design, branding, and code, belongs to us and our licensors. You may use the app while your access is active, but you may not copy, sell, or reverse-engineer the service except as allowed by law.

7. Third-party providers

We partner with trusted services to operate the app, including Supabase, Stripe, Sentry, and optional Apple Sign-In.

8. Changes to the app or these Terms

We may improve features or update these Terms as the service grows. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in-app, by email, or by updating this page.

9. Ending access

You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, prevent abuse or fraud, or enforce these Terms.

10. Warranties and limits

The app is provided as is and as available. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Missouri.
