1. Information we collect
We collect the information needed to provide Homeschool Legal Prep:
- Account data such as email and authentication information
- Homeschool records such as child names, subjects, schedules, logged hours, and optional location tags
- Portfolio artifacts and attachments you choose to upload
- Billing and subscription status information from Stripe
- Diagnostics and crash or error data used to maintain app stability and performance
2. How we use your information
- Provide and sync your records across devices
- Operate and secure your account
- Manage trial and subscription access plus billing status
- Improve reliability and fix bugs
- Respond to support requests
3. Third-party processors
We use trusted service providers to run the app:
- Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage
- Stripe for payments and billing
- Sentry for crash and error monitoring
- Apple Sign In for optional iOS login
4. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, your children's information, or your homeschool records. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Data retention, access, and deletion
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and applicable legal obligations.
- Account and authentication data are retained while your account is active.
- Homeschool records and uploaded files are retained while your account is active.
- Billing records are retained as needed for billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
- Diagnostics and error logs are retained only as long as needed to troubleshoot and improve reliability.
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing amanda@homeschoollegalprep.com.
6. Children's information
Homeschool Legal Prep is designed for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children for independent use of the service, and we do not market to children under 13.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption and secure hosting, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100 percent secure, but we take data protection seriously and continuously improve our safeguards.
8. California privacy rights
If CCPA or CPRA applies to our processing of your personal information, California residents may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out where applicable. Requests can be sent to amanda@homeschoollegalprep.com.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy as the product grows. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page and may provide additional notice when material changes apply.
